YOUR GAME DOESN’T HAVE TO CROSS THE BRIDGE. 🎾💚

Heading out for a game this weekend?
PLAY CLOSER TO HOME.

With today’s traffic simulation at Magsaysay Bridge, getting across the city may take a little more planning.

But here’s some good news for players on the other side of town. 👀

Ampayon is now on the Grid!!!

We’re excited to welcome the first COURTGRID facility in Brgy. Ampayon! 🎉

So if you’re in Ampayon or nearby, you now have another place to play closer to home.

Your next game might be closer than you think.

📍 Ampayon Free Methodist Church, Ampayon, Butuan City

This is exactly why we’re growing CourtGrid, connecting players with more courts in more communities, one facility at a time.

More courts.
More choices.
More reasons to play.

Welcome to the Grid, AFMC Pickle Hub ! 💚

SHOUTOUT TO Pikol is Life!

We love seeing our venues make the most of the tools on the Grid. 💚

Big shoutout to Pikol Is Life! for using CourtGrid’s Court Rotation Feature for their Open Play session!

16 players. 18 matches. And a whole lot of pickleball.

With CourtGrid Rotation, the games keep moving, matchups stay organized, and players can easily see who’s playing, who’s up next, and where they stand.

And to everyone who joined the session, congratulations!

Special shoutout to Cle for finishing the night at the top with a perfect 4–0 record and 100% win rate! 🏆

But whether you topped the standings or simply showed up, played hard, and had a great time, you’re all part of what makes the pickleball community on the Grid exciting.

Keep playing. Keep improving. Keep getting on the Grid. 💚

Thank you, Pikol Is Life, for putting CourtGrid Rotation into action!

A great court is only useful if players can find it.

That’s exactly why we built CourtGrid.

We connect players looking for somewhere to play with venues looking for players.

This week, we’re putting the spotlight on Estacio Village Pickleball Hub Butuan Tennis and Sports Club - BTSC where new coaching classes are opening for players who want to learn, improve, and get on the court.

Discover the venue.
Find the activity.
Book your spot.
Play.

And for venue owners, the other side of the equation is just as important:

You provide the court.
We help players find you.

That’s the Grid.

Players ↔ Venues.

Find. Book. Play.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴. 🟢

When we started CourtGrid, the goal was simple:
Make it easier for people to find a place to play.

Today, we're excited to see the Grid reaching more communities.
18 venues
35 courts
11 cities and growing

From Butuan to Iligan, El Salvador City, Nasipit, Cabadbaran, Ozamiz, Bacolod, Cebu, Zambaonga del Sur, Agusan del Sur, Bukidnon, and beyond.

Every new venue means more players have another place to discover.

Every new court means another community we can connect.

And every new city reminds us that we're building something much bigger than a booking app.

We're building the Grid.

One court.
One community.
One city at a time.

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱. 🚀

To everyone already on the Grid, welcome!!!

And to the next venue joining us: We'd love to have you.

𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗱.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝘀, “𝗜 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝘅 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁”? 👀

Meet 𝗝𝗞 — one of the people behind CourtGrid.

He’s been building software for about 𝟵 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, most of that time working on AXIS, a school management platform used by martial arts schools across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.

But 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽.

𝗜𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Marissa told JK what was happening with court and facility management:

𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘀.
𝗚𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲.
𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀.
𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀.
𝗢𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀.
𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸-𝗮𝗻𝗱-𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗱.

JK recognized the problem immediately.

He’d spent years building software to solve operational headaches for businesses.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 — 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁.

So they started building.

And that idea became CourtGrid.

𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.
𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴.
𝗤𝗥𝗣𝗵 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀.
𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.
𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘀.

And here’s something we really like about JK:

𝗛𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗺𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳.

So when a venue owner has a problem, you’re not just submitting a ticket into a black hole.

𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺.

This is the story behind the technology.

Not a big corporation.
Not a distant software company.

𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝘄 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘆.

𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲.

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗝𝗞. 👋
𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗱.
