Unplanned Outage - Tararua area

One of our larger towers in the Tararua area is currently offline, affecting internet connections for customers in the surrounding area. Our technicians are on there way out this morning to investigate and repair. Apologies for the inconvenience.

MAINTENANCE - Planned Outage – Whanganui Fibre Customers

Morning Everyone.

A planned outage is scheduled for Thursday 8 October (Tomorrow), sometime between 10PM and 6AM the following day, affecting most Whanganui Fibre customers.

Our wholesale provider will be performing maintenance on their core network, with downtime expected to last around one hour.

If your internet is still down when you wake up, try power cycling your router. Still having issues? Give us a call on 0800 484 363 and we’ll help get you back online.

Due to the severe weather, our Wharite tower has sustained some damage, which is currently affecting around 80 customers.

We have technicians scheduled to be onsite from approximately 9:00am today (9/7/2026) to assess the damage and carry out repairs as quickly as possible.
