Investing in the next generation of leaders. 🌱

Last week, our Ricoh Christchurch team hosted an Emerging Leaders event, bringing together student leaders and staff from 24 secondary schools across Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region.

The students had the opportunity to hear from two inspiring leaders, Kieran Read and Jonelle Quane, who shared personal stories and insights from their own leadership journeys.

From thoughtful questions and an engaging panel discussion to an enthusiastic Q&A, the level of participation throughout the day was exceptional. Their curiosity, confidence and depth of thinking offered an encouraging glimpse into the future of leadership across Canterbury.

A big thank you to Te Aratai College for hosting us, the Crusaders for their support in bringing the event together, and Kieran and Jonelle for generously sharing their experiences and insights.

And a special thank you to our own Aiden Hopson for his vision, coordination and hard work in making the day happen.

We’re excited to share that Ricoh has been named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Laser Production Printers 2026 Vendor Assessment, recognising Ricoh’s continued innovation and leadership in production print technology.

According to the report, a ‘key capability is Ricoh's polymerised toner technology that improves print quality and energy efficiency’.

It also states, “Ricoh's core capability in laser production printers is shown not only in the hardware but also in the integration of semiconductor laser technology, electrophotography, toner materials science, and high-volume print engineering developed over nearly 90 years of imaging innovation.”

🏆 Yesterday, we had the privilege of welcoming Ryan Fox to the Ricoh New Zealand office, where he shared stories from his incredible journey, reflected on his recent success, and brought along one of golf's most iconic trophies – the Claret Jug.

It was a proud moment for our team to celebrate not only an outstanding achievement, but the person behind it. Ryan spoke about the experiences that have shaped his career and thanked Ricoh New Zealand for being part of his journey from the very beginning.
