In our road inspection application we have now implemented authorisation. Depending on the group a user has been added to, the whole application adapts the functionality linked to the specific group.
e.g. 4 groups:
- an admin group: has access to all functionality
- an analyse group: specific analytical functions
- a view group: can only view data and make no changes
- an inspection group: has access to specific road inspection functionality
All groups use a base group with functionality used by every user. Think of zoom in and out or search an address.
There is high flexibility of creating groups and users to configure.
Each group is either writable or readonly.
