EIT RawMaterials has published a success story on the CSYARES project, which Circularise led.
The project tackled one of the harder problems in critical materials: how do you make rare earth supply chains transparent and verifiable, without forcing companies to expose sensitive business data? The answer was connecting traceability with life-cycle assessment so companies could track material origin, verify environmental impact, and demonstrate regulatory compliance using the same system.
It's the kind of work that tends to get less attention than the finished product, but it's what makes circularity in critical minerals actually possible.
