We are excited to announce that Muryanmu, an initiative of YandyTech Community, has been selected for the Digital Democracy Innovation in Sub-Saharan Africa Fund (DDISA) tier 2 grant, to scale our civic technology solution ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 elections.

This support will enable us to enhance the platform with an AI-powered civic assistant (MurBot), multilingual support in Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo, a simplified Electoral Act Toolkit, live election insights, and improved accessibility features to ensure more citizens can access trusted civic and electoral information.

We are building a more informed, inclusive, and participatory democracy by empowering citizens with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions.

Every meaning impact begins with a conversation.

YandyTech Community took another important step in its journey as we paid an advocacy visit to the Kaduna State Ministry of Youth Development. It was an opportunity to share our story—our programmes, the milestones we’ve reached, the thematic areas that guide our work, and, most importantly, the stories of young people whose lives have been transformed through our initiatives.

Beyond reflecting on what has been achieved, the conversation looked ahead. We explored opportunities for partnership, recognising that lasting change is built through collaboration. When organisations and government institutions come together with a shared vision, they can create stronger systems, reach more young people, and unlock opportunities that no single organisation could achieve alone.

We are grateful to the Ministry for the warm reception and engaging discussions, and we look forward to building a partnership that will empower even more young people across Kaduna State.

Social protection has the power to reduce poverty, strengthen resilience, and restore dignity. But its impact depends on one critical step: ensuring that the people who need it most are identified, registered, and connected to the support they deserve.

At YandyTech, we believe that building inclusive social protection systems is a shared responsibility. Governments, NGOs, development partners, civil society organization’s, the private sector, and communities all have a role to play in closing the registration gap and ensuring that no one is left behind.

In order to achieve the sustainable development goals, we must collectively work to build systems that are inclusive, accessible, and people-centered. Lasting change is only possible when collaboration drives action.

This campaign is a call to action! Let’s join hands in strengthening social protection systems, expanding access through effective registration, and creating a future where every vulnerable person can access the support they need.

Leveling Up our Brand Game!

Earlier today, we powered up our team at YandyTech Community!

As part of our Staff Capacity Strengthening Initiative, we held a highly impactful workshop on Organizational Brand and Visibility, expertly facilitated by Aliyu Kutigi, our Communications Officer.

Our staff gained practical strategies to strengthen our brand voice, boost visibility, and amplify our mission in the tech ecosystem.
