Other organisations build products; some build brands or infrastructure. But Doubleyou Centre looks at the most important capital of all — human capital. Today, we have grown across 19+ African countries and still counting.

Our deepest gratitude goes to God, who has blessed us immensely. We are where we are today because of grace, mercy, and doors of favour through great support and partnerships.

We appreciate our visionary founder, Israel Yabkwa R I M S I S R A E L Y A B K W A, for seeing beyond what others saw as a problem and bringing credible solutions to the table.

We are not where we used to be, and we look forward to celebrating many more years of impact across Africa.

Happy 7th Anniversary, Doubleyou Centre!

26/09/2026

From Nigeria to Ghana, Rwanda to South Africa, Kenya to Ethiopia, our ASIP Fellows across the continent came together to celebrate 7 years of Doubleyou Centre.

What started as a local initiative in 2019 is now a continental movement, advancing human potential across Africa — one fellow, one story, one nation at a time.

Here's to many more years of building together.

Doubleyou Centre was founded in 2019. What started as a local initiative has grown into a continental platform, partnering with universities, corporations, and governments across Africa to make education translate into real societal impact.

Today, we're not just marking our 7th year; we're reflecting on how God has been faithful through it all.

We're not just building, we're "Advancing Human Potential Across Africa."

To everyone who has partnered with us in one way or another, we see you, and we appreciate you.

THANK YOU, TARIA KHAOMA AND ABIGAIL JEFIA! 🙏

On behalf of the African Student Impact Program and everyone at Doubleyou Centre, we say a big thank you to you both for sharing your time, wisdom, and stories with our community during “Beyond the Glass Ceiling.”

Together, you reminded our fellows that if anyone can have the best of opportunities, why not them?

Your journeys are proof that with clarity, courage, and audacity, there’s no limit to what’s possible.

We’re also grateful to Fueling Agile Solutions for their support and helping create the space for this important conversation.

Thank you for investing in conversations that inspire young Africans to think bigger, challenge limits, and imagine what is possible.

We call on more organisations to join us in creating platforms, opportunities, and meaningful experiences that empower young Africans to learn, grow, and build for the future.

We’re deeply grateful to you all. 💚

Thank You, Shalom Ernest 🙏

Mr. Shalom Ernest Shalom Ernest took our minds on a journey, from the question "Why on Earth Am I Black?" to a deeper one: "Now that I am here, what can I do about it?"

The Doubleyou ASIP Fellows are grateful to you for guiding us through purpose and clarity.

Here are some highlights from yesterday's session that we'd love to share with everyone coming across this post:

1️⃣ Purpose is that thing that gives you satisfaction and meaning in life.

2️⃣ The 3 dimensions of purpose:
🔸 Your specific purpose — that thing that defines success for you.
🔸 Your disciplined purpose — the voice of God in you that opens your eyes to the problems around you and moves you toward solutions. In Africa, we have problems in abundance, and our future lies in working to solve them.
🔸 Your generic purpose — what makes you human and distinct from animals. "Being human is not a function of your features. It lies in your ability to love and in your capacity to give."

3️⃣ Your obedience will unlock a discovery in someone else and that's exactly what Mr. Shalom's obedience did for the Fellows of the ASIP Builders' Room.

We're grateful to have you, and we look forward to building a greater Africa beyond what we imagined.
