I’ve known Hash since she was 15, and honestly, she was always an artist at heart.

Some people choose their path. Hash didn’t really get that luxury. Her heart chose for her.

That brave young woman grew up and started Hash Paints, creating murals that now live in homes, commercial spaces, and even temples across Malaysia.

I still remember commissioning my first piece from her and how special that felt. During COVID, watching her paint gave me the courage to pick up a brush again too.

Today, we’re so honoured that Hash Paints is part of the QRate Lite family, listening closely to her customers as she continues to grow.

CX Wrapped 2025

As the year ends, our feeds are full of lessons, milestones and big reflections. I am keeping most of mine for my journal this time.

Today, I wanted to do something a little different and shine the spotlight on eight people who have quietly made my life brighter through their service.
The first four have walked with me through the messy, exciting journey of becoming a startup founder this year. Their professionalism, clarity and support have been priceless.

The others show up in the everyday. Tailoring blouses, washing cars, selling fruit on the highway, helping us feel at home in a busy saree shop. Their kindness and thoughtfulness have made this year softer and sweeter.

The hardest part of building a startup is honestly knowing when to slow down.

When there is always something to ship, fix, improve, or follow up on, rest can start to feel like “lost time”. But we are first and foremost committed to our wellbeing, and we want to build QRate in a way that is sustainable.
So we’re taking it slow this season. Less hustle, more time with family and friends, and more real connection.

With loads of gratitude, we’re wrapping up a super dynamic second half of the year. Thank you to everyone who supported us, tested with us, challenged us, and cheered us on.

We built QRate Lite because many single outlet owners want to listen better to their customers, but don’t want complicated systems or public review anxiety.

We’ll be opening QRate Lite to all single outlet owners very soon.
