NIEKO - game development studio

22/10/2026

Going to GameOn this weekend? Come find us at the NIEKO booth in Indie Town.
KIIPLUU is back for another round of playtesting. Sneak through the Neolithic wilderness, avoid the hunters, and see how long you can survive.

Stop by, give it a try, and tell us what you think. We want to hear your feedback, even if the Na’Ush get to you first.

See you at GameOn.

Rememebrance: All that remains is out on Meta Store!

Dive deep into the fractured memories of Professor Isaac Nemeth, a brilliant but broken scientist whose work may hold the key to humanity's survival. Guiding Dr. Bell, a psychologist, you'll navigate surreal landscapes, solve intricate puzzles, and uncover haunting truths buried in his subconscious.

We updated the Kiipluu demo. Here's what happened
- The Na'Ush were dancing instead of attacking. We noticed. They don't do that anymore.
- Bowmen got smarter.
- Players were loading in with two weapons, or none at all. Neither is a great way to start when a cannibalistic tribe is hunting you. Fixed.
- Bodies dragged in silence. That's been corrected, because silence while dragging a body is somehow more disturbing than the alternative.
- We also added hints and lore on death screens and loading. You will see them often. That's not a threat, just an observation.
- Enemies react to being hit now.
- Credits are in.
- Subtitles are cleaner. A handful of other things that were quietly wrong are quietly fixed.
The demo is still brutal. That's not changing. But it's a little more fair now and a lot more alive.
If you haven't tried it yet, the demo is free on Steam.

And if you've already played - a review takes thirty seconds and helps more than you'd think. Tell us where you died. We're genuinely curious.

We want to share a short behind - the - scenes video of how we created the Kiipluu soundtrack - from the first recording sessions to the layered tension you hear in-game.
Watching it still gives me goosebumps. It’s a special kind of magic.
Take a look - and if you haven’t tried the demo yet, it’s waiting for you on Steam. 🎧
