Saying goodbye is never easy!

4 August 2026, we said farewell to two wonderful members of the ESCCK team: Seoyoung, Seoyoung and Sergio.

After supporting the Chamber’s marketing and membership activities—and Andalucía TRADE’s activities earlier this year—they are both beginning new chapters.

Seoyoung is heading to the Secretaría General Iberoamericana (SEGIB) through a one-year government programme, while Sergio is returning to Spain and to his position there.

You have been amazing colleagues and even better friends. We will miss you both! 

Wishing you every success and happiness in your next adventures. ❤️

ESCCK was pleased to support the official visit of the Granada delegation Ayuntamiento de Granada to Korea, fostering new opportunities for cooperation between Spain and Korea.

Throughout the mission, the delegation met with the Seoul Metropolitan Government, Daejeon Metropolitan City, the Korea Institute of Fusion Energy (KFE), WeGO, CityNet, and key players in Korea’s creative industry.

The visit focused on exchanging knowledge and exploring collaboration in smart cities, science and technology, culture, investment, and the creative industries.

A key outcome of the mission was the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) between Agencia Granada Global and The Studio M, Fantagio, and JUNG Universe, paving the way for future cooperation in audiovisual content, entertainment, culture, tourism, and investment.

ESCCK is proud to support initiatives that strengthen the economic and cultural partnership between Spain and Korea.

이번에는 플라멩코 역사수업도 진행되고 있어, 스페인 역사 속의 플라멩코를 만날 수 있는 시간도 준비되어있습니다. 

Yoel Vargas는 2003년생으로 3살 때 플라멩코를 시작하여 2026년 현재 23살의 나이지만 플라멩코 외길인생을 걸어온 플라멩코계의 루키입니다.

2021년 까딸루냐 예술전문 교육과정을 최우수졸업생 상과 함께 수료하였습니다.

스페인 플라멩코 최고의 아티스트인 Manuel Liñan의 “Viva”에 합류하게 되면서 뉴욕, 런던, 마이애미, 멕시코시티, 보고타, 상해 등 전 세계 주요 도시를 순회하며 세계 무대에 자신의 존재를 알리고 있습니다.

미국 뉴욕의 세계적인 권위지 댄스 매거진(Dance Magazine)이 선정한 "주목해야 할 25인의 무용수 (25 to Watch)"에도 이름을 올리기도 했습니다!

2026년 7월 27일, 스페인상공회의소는 의 다섯 번째 세션에 참석하였습니다.

이번 세션에서는 무용가 알레산드로 나바로 바르베이토 Alessandro Navarro Barbeito, 한국 무용가 이선아와 온라인으로 참여한 스위스 무용가 피에르-이브 디아콩이 의 제작 과정을 공유했습니다. 화면 너머로 서로의 안무를 함께 따라 추며 각자의 미노타우루스를 공유했던 비대면 교감은 물리적 한계를 뛰어넘는 혁신적인 순간이었습니다.

이어진 토크 세션에서는 각계 전문 연사들이 참여해 깊이 있는 화두를 던졌습니다.
- 안드레아 파치오토 (서울예대 교수/CultureHub Europe 디렉터): 기술의 발전(Skype 등)과 디지털 환경에서 자라난 신세대의 인지적 특성 변화
- 카를로스 말도나도 (기후·탄소 정책 전문가): 기후 변화의 구조적 책임 소재(개인 vs 대기업 및 국가 간 격차)에 대한 고찰

Onsite dancer Alessandro Navarro Barbeito Alessandro Navarro Barbeito, our valuable member, Korean dancer Sun-a Lee and online Swiss dancer Pierre-Yves Diacon shared the creative process, featuring an opening choreography demo and a virtual moment where they shared their respective Minotaurs.

The talk session featured insightful presentations:
- Andrea Paciotto: Discussed technological advancements and cognitive changes in the digital generation.
- Carlos Maldonado: Examined the structural responsibilities regarding climate change.
- Lee Jaejin: Emphasized that culture can truly flourish when supported by sustainable basic infrastructure.

Following this session, the main performance will be held on August 19, 2026, at SONGEUN Art Space (441 Dosan-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul). We kindly ask for your continued interest and support.
