🔍 Originally developed by Google in the mid-2000s as an internal system called "Borg," Kubernetes was designed to manage and orchestrate containerized applications across Google's vast distributed infrastructure.

🌐 In 2014, Google open-sourced Kubernetes, making it available to the wider community. Since then, it has been managed by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), driving its rapid growth and adoption.

💡 Today, Kubernetes is the go-to solution for container orchestration, revolutionizing how developers deploy and manage applications in cloud-native environments.
