As AI Agents autonomously execute tasks, access systems, and process sensitive data, NGOs must re-evaluate AI identities, access privileges, and digital asset security while boosting operational efficiency.
Hosted by F5 and co-organized by the HKCNSA, the "NGOs Adopting Agentic AI: Opportunities and Challenges" seminar gathered NGO and tech leaders to explore the opportunities and risks of Agentic AI across practical applications, governance, and cybersecurity.
The event kicked off with opening remarks from HKCSS's Erica Or and HKCNSA Founding Chairman David Ip. Terry Lau, Head of IT at the Hong Kong Society for the Aged (SAGE), shared practical NGO insights on internal AI governance and management. Patrick Fan, Founder of FabriXAI, detailed the deployment journey of Agentic AI, explaining how to automate workflows and enhance efficiency.
With AI Agents gaining higher autonomy, ensuring that only authorized AI accesses critical systems is a pressing new challenge for both enterprises and NGOs.
