TECHAiDE, a technology social enterprise, has been working in Africa for over a decade using ICTs to improve Education, support Youth Development, and facilitate Health Delivery. We deliver the tools of technology – sustainable computing to those who need it most in the rural areas to transform lives. In collaboration with international development partners in Africa, Europe and America, our work has impacted locals especially in rural and underserved areas in West Africa through our partnerships with Plan International-Ghana; Alumni of Yale University (USA), World Vision International-Ghana; CamFed International, UK & Ghana; Students Bridging the Information Gap-USA; World Education-US & Ghana amongst others. TECHAiDE has provided appropriate technologies and developed human capacities that unleashed the potential of individuals, communities and institutions. At TECHAiDE we take a needs-based approach to developing solutions, always focusing on lowering cost of ownership and improved sustainability.

It was a memorable moment at Damongo as the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, together with the Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, and other top dignitaries, commissioned the Yamoransa Model Lab 13.

This was a collaborative effort between the Helping Africa Foundation, IMPLEMENTERS, the Ghana Education Service, and the Ministry of Education.
