📌 Damien Déclat, VP and General Manager of HPC & AI at HPE, overseeing Europe, the Middle East, and adjacent markets, visited Georgia together with Iveta Lohovska, Chief Technology Officer, AI and HPC and their colleagues.

During the visit, key meetings were held in Tbilisi with Mariam Kvrivishvili and Avtandil Kasradze, along with engagements with HPE.

The discussions focused on advancing Georgia’s technology ecosystem, fostering innovation, and strengthening the country’s position as a regional tech hub.

Special attention was given to the initiatives of Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), which are already delivering tangible results:
✔️ Supporting over 160 startups annually
✔️ Offering tax incentives for innovative companies
✔️ Expanding technology parks across the country

GT Group is actively engaged in this process, contributing to the development of technology and innovation from the private sector.

🔹The combined GT Group, Cisco and Alpha Distribution • ალფა დისტრიბუშენ event "Cisco Cyber Security Ecosystem" took place on July 19 and 20, 2024.

The event took place in Kakheti, Telavi, Hotel Esquisse.

The session featured presentation and workshop from Cisco.

Speaker at the event • Kirill Sulima - Technical Solutions Architect, Cisco GSSO

Attendees had the opportunity to interact closely with Cisco goods. Additionally, practical work was done with the aim of removing obstacles to company operations and streamlining the requirement for Ciko cyber security products.

🔷 This year's HPE Tech Jam, formerly known as the HPE Technology and Solution Summit, took place in Vienna, Austria, from May 13–17, 2024.

Participants came to the event with the goal of developing their abilities, learning from experts in the field, and networking with technologists from HPE and our partner ecosystem.

🔹 Naturally, the GT Group was present.

Our CTO, Vladimer Ninikashvili, and system architect, Zurab Tabuashvili, took part in the event.
