The University of Wolverhampton Science Park marked its 30th anniversary on 14 October 2025, celebrating three decades of innovation, collaboration and economic impact across the region. The milestone event brought together leaders from business, academia and local government to reflect on the Science Park’s journey since its opening in 1995 with a vision to support the growth of innovative businesses.

Today, the Science Park spans nearly 12 acres and is home to over 120 companies and approximately 650 employees across four landmark buildings, including the Technology Centre, Creative Industries Centre, and the award-winning Science Centre. Through its SPARK and SPEED incubator programmes, the Park has supported more than 1,600 start-ups, generating an estimated £60 million in direct economic impact for the region.

Fantastic to see University of Wolverhampton Science Park tenants, Goldilock, thriving!

The global tech firm has expanded its manufacturing and testing site at the Science Park after doubling its workforce to meet a rise in demand for its products.

The company’s anti-hacking work has led to it work with Nato, the Ministry of Defence and other organisations responsible for ‘critical national infrastructure’.

The firm said it expects to increase its team to 32 employees by the end of 2025 and create 44 new jobs by 2027.

The University of Wolverhampton Science Park celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year and, as a hub for innovation, takes pride in providing the right environment, talent, and infrastructure to support cutting-edge businesses. The expansion of cybersecurity and technology based company, Goldilock, is a testament to the Midlands’ strength as a tech and R&D powerhouse.

We’re excited to support Goldilock’s growth and look forward to seeing how technology shapes the future of cybersecurity.

We hosted the ACS Brand Day, a brand-new event for the 2025 calendar, bringing together leading brands from across the retail sector to share their latest products and plans for the upcoming year with a large retailer-only audience, the first of its kind in the ACS calendar.

Some of the sector’s leading brands attended the first-ever Brand Day, representing categories across the channel, from Kellanova, Birds Eye, Premier Foods, Nestle, Kepak, Rich’s, and Surya Foods.
