Two microphones. Two categories. 🏆

We’re incredibly proud to share that ARIA 2 and SOLO W1 are both finalists in the 2027 NAMM TEC Awards.

Our second-generation valve condenser, ARIA 2, is a finalist in Microphones – Recording, while SOLO W1, our supercardioid wireless capsule, has been recognised in Microphones – Sound Reinforcement.

The TEC Awards are one of the most recognised awards in professional audio, celebrating the products and technology shaping the industry. To have Sontronics represented across both recording and live sound is a brilliant moment for everyone involved in designing, developing and building our microphones here in England. 🇬🇧

The winners will be announced at The NAMM Show in Anaheim this January, where we’ll be exhibiting too! We’re looking forward to putting both finalists in the hands of people at the show, alongside microphones from across the Sontronics range.

If you joined us at the Ash Soan event on Tuesday, you may remember there being a prize draw for a FREE Sontronics SOLO Microphone, an absolutely fantastic vocal or snare drum mic... MUCH better than the SM58/SM57 that everyone seems to assume hasn't been beaten since the 90's...

Ash himself kindly signed the mic and box!
