ELECTRICIAN – FULL TIME
We are seeking a qualified and dependable Electrician to join an established team delivering electrical works across commercial and domestic properties on a full-time basis.
This role is suited to someone with solid experience in installation, inspection, testing and fault-finding, who works safely, takes pride in their workmanship, and is comfortable operating independently or as part of a wider team. The position includes a company van.
Responsibilities
• Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems within commercial and domestic environments
• Carrying out inspection and testing works, including completion of electrical certification
• Diagnosing electrical faults and completing repairs efficiently to minimise disruption
• Reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, and technical information accurately
• Ensuring all work complies with BS 7671, health & safety requirements, and site procedures
• Completing routine inspections and identifying potential issues proactively
• Working alongside other trades, engineers, and supervisors when required
• Accurately completing job records, test results, and certification documentation
Qualifications
· Proven experience as an Electrician working in commercial and domestic settings
· Strong installation, testing, and fault-finding experience
· City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent
· NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent recognised qualification
· Confident use of hand tools and power tools
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high safety standards
· Full UK driving licence (essential)
· Professional and customer-focused approach when working in occupied properties
