🎉 New Feature: Full Discount Management is Here! (v1.27.0)

We're excited to announce that version 1.27.0 is now rolling out with one of the most requested features: comprehensive discount management!
What's New
📊 Receipt-Level Discounts
You can now apply a discount to your entire receipt, and Receiptix will automatically distribute it proportionally across all items. Perfect for store-wide sales, coupon codes, or bulk discounts! Even better: the app now recognizes and extracts receipt-level discounts automatically when scanning receipts.
🏷️ Item-Level Discounts
Need to track individual item discounts? No problem! You can now add discounts to specific items, and the scanner will also detect item-level discounts automatically.
🧮 Smart Automatic Calculations
The app automatically calculates effective prices accounting for both receipt-level and item-level discounts. Your totals will always be accurate, and you'll see exactly how much you saved!
Other Improvements in This Release
- Decimal quantity support: You can now enter fractional quantities like 1.5 or 2.75 (great for bulk items sold by weight)
- Better input experience: Improved cursor positioning when typing numbers
- Bug fixes: Fixed issues with recent receipts not updating correctly
How to Use It
When editing or adding a receipt manually, you'll now see new discount fields:
Add discounts to individual items in the item list
Add a receipt-level discount at the bottom
The app handles all the math automatically!
For scanned receipts, discounts are detected automatically - just review and edit if needed!
