Three in four companies allow AI to reject candidates without a human reviewing the decision.

That is from a Resume.org survey of 1,399 US workers with knowledge of their company's hiring practices. Only 26% said a person checks every rejection.

So the silence after an application often is not a person deciding you are not right. It is a threshold you sat below. Which is worth knowing, because you can do something about a threshold.

Sourcing happens before posting. A recruiter opens the database, filters, and works the list. The advert goes out afterwards, sometimes only because policy requires one.
