Stop waiting for the “perfect” time to book your driving test. 🛑🚗
The truth? By the time you feel 100% ready, the next available slot could be 6 months away. If you want to get your license this year, you need a strategy—not just more lessons.
Here is the blueprint I used to beat the pressure and pass:
1️⃣ Book Immediately: Don’t wait. Secure your spot at your preferred test center to beat the backlog. You can always hunt for cancellations later!
2️⃣ Master the Timing: Avoid the 8am and 3pm school runs. I lucked out with an 8am slot during the Christmas holidays—the roads were empty! 🎄
3️⃣ Experience vs. Rules: Driving abroad helps, but the test is about UK standards. Find an instructor who is invested in your success, not just your money.
4️⃣ Protect Your Peace: Keep your test date a secret. Fewer people knowing means less pressure on you. 🤫
5️⃣ Practice Practice Practice: Study your local test routes on YouTube. Visualizing the junctions before you get there is a total game-changer.
Success is 50% skill and 50% mindset. Surround yourself with people who say “You can do it” and block out the rest. 🛡️✨
Which stage of the journey are you in?
🗓️ Just booked
🏎️ Taking lessons
🎯 Test date is close!

As a beginner driver in the UK… it’s really not as easy as I thought 😅
The number of lessons, test booking hassle, and all the waiting, it’s been a whole experience. I’ve been learning how to drive since March 🥲 (with breaks in between)

If you got your driver’s licence abroad, what was it like for you?
Please share your tips and let’s learn from each other 👇🏽

C-Section Recovery Hacks: STOP trying to prove you’re strong! 🛑
You just went through one of the most invasive surgeries a woman can have—this is NOT the time to push yourself. Over 1 in 4 UK Mums give birth via C-section, and proper recovery is non-negotiable.

I healed fast by focusing on these non-negotiable steps. Save this for your recovery!
• 1. Move Like Your Life Depends On It: Start walking (little, little steps) ASAP. This prevents blood clots, stiff muscles, and—the worst—constipation! Don’t race, just move.
• 2. Fuel with Iron: C-sections cause major blood loss. I loaded up on iron-rich foods (spinach, red meat, pink fish) to replenish my supply and support milk production.
• 3. Pelvic Floor Exercise is Non-Negotiable: Whether vaginal or C-section, every woman needs to work her “giggle muscles.” I used the Squeezy App (recommended by my Midwife) to stay consistent.
• 4. Scar Massage: Once approved, start massaging your scar with silicone strips to flatten the tissue and reduce tightness. (The exact brand I used is 🔗 in my Amazon store).
• 5. Don’t Lift Heavy! Seriously. Nothing heavier than your baby. If you need to pick something up, use a squatting position, not bending over. This protects your incision!

Let’s unbox my new Ergonomic Chair from . This chair is the most comfy office chair I’ve ever owned and I actually can’t believe I’ve been using my dining chair for the last two months! 😅

Since I work remotely on some days and plan to start creating more content, upgrading my office space with this was veryyyy needed.

Comment CHAIR and I’ll send the link straight to your dm!
