Internet Connections Ltd, pioneers of Superfast broadband on St Edwards Park, are excited to announce the launch of their new 1000Mbps broadband service.

Back in 2013 Internet Connections Ltd delivered speeds of 50Mbps to St Edward's Park when existing services allowed an average speed of only 5Mbps. This ten times increase in speed opened up new ways to use the Internet for residents on the quiet estate.

In February 2020 Internet Connections launched a new 100Mbps service, again pioneering speeds in this area. This service has proven invaluable to residents during lockdown who have been able to continue working from home as normal with ultrafast, low latency broadband.

Now, the latest development will see the deployment of blown fibre technology to bring Fibre-to-the-Premises (FttP) broadband speeds of up to 1000Mbps. This network will service over 100 properties that are currently unable to access fibre broadband from BT Openreach’s network.

The first phase of the rollout will see all of the apartment buildings on St Edwards Park connected to the new lightning-fast fibre network. These properties have not been included in a recent FttP rollout by BT Openreach leaving residents there at a significant speed disadvantage compared to their neighbours.

A range of affordable packages will be on offer as follows:-

50Mbps - £30/month
500Mbps - £40/month
1000Mbps - £60/month
