Celebrating 20 years of changing lives.

Last week, we were proud to join Sport 4 Life UK as they celebrated two decades of helping young people across the West Midlands build confidence, develop skills and create brighter futures.

At Hubtel IT, we believe young people need more than talent to succeed. Just like in sport, success comes from having the right support, opportunities and people around you. That's why we're passionate about creating pathways into technology through apprenticeships and supporting organisations like Sport 4 Life with the IT, security and digital systems they rely on every day.

We're proud to be sponsoring The The Albion Foundation's Pukka Night series and it was a privilege to support the sold-out Ron Atkinson & Friends evening at The Hawthorns.

Guests were treated to an unforgettable night of stories, football memories and plenty of laughs as Ron Atkinson was joined by Albion legends Brendon Batson, Ally Robertson and Tony "Bomber" Brown.

The Albion Foundation does incredible work across our local communities, and we're delighted to play a small part in supporting events that bring people together while helping fund that important work.

Last week, Hubtel IT and Konsileo brought together industry leaders, , the National Cyber Resilience Centre network, Ingram Micro and for a roundtable at .

The conversation focused on one key question. What does the Cyber Security and Resilience Bill really mean for UK businesses, and are organisations ready for the true cost of compliance?

It was an open and, at times, challenging discussion. While the Bill is an important step towards strengthening the UK’s cyber defences and protecting critical services, there was a clear feeling that more needs to be done to support SMEs. In particular, helping them understand both the cost of compliance and the financial impact of cyber crime itself.

With cyber attacks costing the UK economy billions each year, the stakes continue to rise.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to such an important conversation.

The insights shared will now help shape a joint letter to Dan Jarvis, Minister of State at the Home Office. This will call for clearer guidance on compliance costs, better education for SMEs, and recognition of the vital role MSPs play in delivering practical, joined-up cyber security.

This is just the start of the conversation.
