Here we go, the start of my 9th season, where has that time gone, racing at the Donington Historic Festival today, such a great track.

Our Lotus Formula Junior has been stripped down over the winter to get a few much needed jobs done, thanks to Road To Race for doing a sterling job as ever.

We’ve had a great response to the addition of the JBL Summit Ama’s a month or so ago so I am delighted to now have the 3 way JBL Summit Pumori’s here, basically their big floorstanding brother so offering everything the Ama’s offered, so a big open airy sound with a great soundstage but underpinned with much more bass weight and solidity and by having a bigger cabinet the sound just feels even more open.

Also it should be mentioned that they look gorgeous and are the perfect size for UK homes, they are reasonably discreet compared to others but they really do ooze quality, especially in the Ebony Wood Veneer with Gold accents of our demo pair.

I feel it is also worth pointing out that they come as standard with Isoacoustic isolation feet which I know from demoing their Gaia feet over the years how they really helps tighten the bass, a neat touch.

Really nice, local for a change, install today of a pair of vintage PMC Speakers MB1 speakers, hard to believe these are over 25 years old, blows me away how good speakers this old sound, PMC really nailed the design on these 👌

We partnered them with an ARCAM SA45 streaming amp and Rega Planar 3 RS turntable, no lie but this system sounded brilliant, totally unbeatable for the cost.
