🏎️⚡ Passion, team spirit, and engineering expertise – these are precisely the qualities that define successful engineering projects. And they are exactly what shape our work at dSPACE.
That’s why it’s important to us to foster this mindset early on: in student teams that take on responsibility, solve complex technical challenges, and collaborate on innovative ideas. Formula Student provides the perfect platform for this, offering a highly practical, interdisciplinary experience.

🤝 One example of this is the Formula Student team Delta Racing from Mannheim University of Applied Sciences . Every year, students from various disciplines develop an electric race car – from the initial idea through simulation and control systems all the way to competing in international competitions. This involves much more than just motorsports: Teamwork, project management, and entrepreneurial thinking are integral parts of the project.

Through their collaboration with dSPACE, team members gain insights into real-world industrial development processes and work with engineering tools similar to those used in professional vehicle development. This creates a valuable bridge between academic study and practical application, laying the foundation for the very skills that define strong teams.

We are incredibly proud of our colleague Ana! 🙌 She has made it into the top 10 of Croatia’s “Engineer of the Year” awards – a tremendous achievement and a strong recognition of her work at dSPACE.

The competition is organized by the German-Croatian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK) and honors outstanding female engineers and their influence as role models for future generations. With her dedication, expertise, and positive energy, Ana is not only an asset to our team but also a role model for the next generation of female engineers. 💙

This week, we welcomed 30 students and faculty members from FH Münster to dSPACE! 🏢

💡 The day offered a great mix of technological insights and career-related topics, giving the students a glimpse into our work and how different roles at dSPACE work together. In addition to the presentations, the visit included a tour with live demonstrations of our products, giving the visitors first-hand experience of our solutions and day-to-day operations.

💬 It was great to see the participants show such keen interest and make the day so engaging with their thoughtful questions and open discussions. Many thanks to FH Münster and all participants for visiting us – we really enjoyed the exchange and look forward to staying in touch with the next generation of engineers and innovators.

Deepa, Group Manager at dSPACE Trivandrum, brings over 17 years of experience across both service and product companies. She joined dSPACE in March 2025, stepping into a role that perfectly aligns with her passion for strategic leadership and building high-performing teams. 🚀

Although she first came across the opportunity through a job portal, what stood out to her was the thoughtfully designed hiring process and the clarity of purpose she sensed during her final conversation with the Managing Director. ✨

She shares:

“I wasn’t familiar with dSPACE at first, but through research and conversations with peers, I discovered a company with deep roots in innovation, a legacy dating back to the 1980s at MIT, and a strong global reputation in the automotive domain.” 🗯️
