That tiny dot above your “i”?

If it’s the exact same width as the stem, it probably feels too small.

👀 The fix: make the dot slightly wider than the vertical stroke.

This is called optical correction. Our eyes don’t perceive shapes mathematically, so type designers adjust details like this to make letters feel balanced.

first rebrand in nearly a decade, and the type work is quietly brilliant. 🔥

Every stroke is a different weight so they look consistent. Every letter gap is uneven so the spacing looks even. Good typography isn't equal measurements, it's correcting what the eye actually sees.
