Founded in 2016, CIE acts as a business incubator, consultant and mentor for innovation and entrepreneurship world-wide. We act as an Idea Laboratory, getting brilliant ideas from concept to prototype. We provide business incubation, acceleration and mentoring services to entrepreneurs and start-ups. We consult universities, governments and institutions on start-ups and innovation. Our mission is

to foster entrepreneurship and innovation culture, skills and outcomes. Our objectives are to:

Serve as an idea laboratory, moving business concepts from idea to prototype to market launch

Provide business incubation, acceleration and mentoring services to start-ups and innovators

Provide consultancy support in fields of entrepreneurship, innovation, business incubation, science & technology and SME development

Design and manage enterprise, regional and sectoral innovation and entrepreneurship programmes

Monitor, research, report on and disseminate trends in technology, innovation, entrepreneurship and related issues

Provide training, HR development, mentoring and other services in these fields.

A new funding opportunity has been announced by the Government of Cyprus under the programme “Enhancing Cybersecurity for Small and Medium Enterprises in the Republic of Cyprus 2025 – Tourism.” The programme will provide € 1,000,000 for cybsersecurity support and is implemented by the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) in collaboration with the Digital Security Authority (DSA). The submission deadline is 18 November 2025.

Navigator Consulting Group completed a 2-day training on Digital Transformation this past Monday and Tuesday in Limassol. The course was delivered on behalf of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry and supported Cypriot enterprises in taking a strategic approach to technology adaptation on their path towards digital transformation.

In order to support small enterprises prepare for technological change, Navigator held a 2-day training on digital transformation.

We were honoured to attend the 2023 EBAN European Business Angels Network Annual Congress in Thessaloniki on 24-26 May. The progress made by the Greek technology ecosystem is really stunning, especially if one takes into account the tremendous economic depression from 2010 onwards. We are pleased to share the completion of the first Women TechEU pilot funding scheme. Launched under the European Innovation Ecosystems programme of Horizon Europe, the Women TechEU scheme provides grants of € 75,000 for innovation and growth to female-led start-ups.

In addition, the scheme provides support through the European Innovation Council’s Women Leadership Programme as well as networking support.

An international Call for Proposals resulted in the selection of 50 women-led companies in 15 countries. Of these, 40 companies are based in the EU Member States, with the remainder from the Horizon Europe widening countries.
