একটা Shipment Buyer-এর কাছে পৌঁছানোর পর Defect ধরা পড়লো।

তারপর শুরু হয় Claim, Rework, Replacement, Shipment delay - আর সবচেয়ে বড় কথা, Buyer Confidence কমে যায়।

কিন্তু একটা প্রশ্ন হলো -
এই Defect কি Shipment-এর আগেই ধরা সম্ভব ছিল?

সমস্যা হচ্ছে, অনেক Factory-তে Quality check করা হয়, কিন্তু Production-এর প্রতিটি Stage-এ Defect-এর Proper Visibility থাকে না। ফলে ছোট defect শেষ পর্যন্ত বড় Claim হয়ে ফিরে আসে।

অর্থাৎ, QC শুধু Defect খোঁজার জন্য নয়-

ধরুন, আজ Production Target ছিল ১০,০০০ Pieces।
কিন্তু দুপুর পর্যন্ত Production কতদূর এগিয়েছে, কোন Line পিছিয়ে আছে, কোথায় Bottleneck তৈরি হয়েছে - Management সেটা জানতে পারছে দিনের শেষে।
