When a colleague like Christine Pinsent-Johnson retires, the occasion deserves a note of gratitude for everything she has contributed.

Christine joined the AlphaPlus staff team in 2018, after four years of collaborating with us as a freelance researcher. During her time with us, Christine has helped shape not only what we do but also how we think about supporting educators and communities.

"Connecting via Zoom is great, but having the opportunity to meet, learn, and engage in person with others from the Get SET community is truly invaluable,” shared our colleague Monika as she is participating in the Literacy Network Northeast Get SET Conference in Timmins.

The conference goal is to better align outreach efforts (by identifying shared key messages and communication strategies) and effectively meet the needs of the local clients and communities.

Taking notes in Zoom meetings just got easier!

In the past, you could either turn on the AI Assistant (which some users didn’t prefer) or enable a transcript. The transcript was helpful, but you had to remember to save it before leaving the meeting—which we often forgot to do!

The My Notes feature goes a step further. It uses the meeting transcript to automatically generate AI-powered notes, summarizes key points with references to specific transcript lines, and saves everything in Zoom Hub for easy access later. You can choose to view either the summaries or the full transcript, whenever you need them.

Did we mention that you can also add extra manual notes (for example an action item you might want to follow up on or explore later) and they will be saved too?
