Meet this month's Hostaway Employee Spotlight: Kasey Evans, our Director of Sales, North America!

Ask Kasey what she loves most, and the answer is easy: the people. It is rare to find a team that is simultaneously so high-performing and so down-to-earth. We are winning on so many fronts as a business, but we never lose the fun, collaborative, and deeply empathetic environment that makes coming to work (from anywhere!) so rewarding.

🌱 On the growth side, Kasey says she's been focused on adaptability and rapid learning. Hostaway is growing fast, which means the product, the market, and our processes are constantly evolving. She's learned to embrace change as a constant, rapidly upskill when new tools or features are introduced, and stay agile.

The difference between a good host and a great one usually isn't effort, it's a repeatable system. Here are the 6 checklists behind a clean, consistent operation:

🛏 TURNOVER: your highest-frequency job and where most problems start. Fresh linens, deep clean every room, restock to par, stage to match your photos.

🔎 INSPECTION: a scheduled look at condition and safety on a cadence, not just when something breaks. Catch the slow problems early, when they're cheap.

👋 GUEST WELCOME: working access codes, clear check-in, a stocked basket. Minutes of work, but skipping them is what starts the anxious "I can't find the door code" message.

📷 LISTING SETUP: accurate descriptions, photos that match reality, clear house rules. The foundation the other four depend on, so get it right once.

🔧 MAINTENANCE: HVAC and filters, plumbing leaks, dryer vents, detectors, run on a schedule not a complaint. The least visible checklist, and often the one that protects your margins most.
