And that’s a wrap on the 2026! 🇬🇧 Our inFlow team had a fantastic time connecting with accountants, bookkeepers, and industry professionals.

Here are our three main takeaways from the show:

Keeping an accurate picture of inventory isn’t always easy.

𝟖𝟎% 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟰𝟬𝟬 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 we surveyed said they lose 1–5% of their inventory to shrinkage, and 𝟒𝟒% experience stockouts at least once a month.

When inventory is disappearing on one end and running out on the other, it’s hard to know what’s actually in stock.

𝟖𝟏.𝟐% 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟰𝟬𝟬 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 we surveyed said they’re interested in using AI.

𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚’𝙨 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮:
→ Only 𝟏𝟏% are actually using AI
→ 𝟖𝟏.𝟐% are interested in adopting it

On the surface, inventory management seems to be doing pretty well.

𝟵𝟮% of the businesses we surveyed said they’re satisfied with their inventory management.

𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙘𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙧 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠:
→ 𝟒𝟗.𝟓% still want to improve their inventory accuracy
→ 𝟖𝟒.𝟖% are still relying on spreadsheets

Sometimes, “satisfied” simply means the system is getting the job done. That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s optimized.
