🎈A dicembre torna il workshop di Nova Media Studio alla scoperta del videomapping e del visual design, esplorando le possibilità creative della proiezione e della costruzione di narrazioni audiovisive attraverso lo spazio.

Tre giornate tra teoria e pratica per sperimentare con TouchDesigner e Resolume Arena: dal mapping 2D e 3D alla creazione di visual generativi e audio-reattivi, fino all’esplorazione di tecniche di scansione e modellazione tridimensionale.

Il percorso si concluderà il 12 dicembre con la possibilità di presentare un progetto artistico da Recontemporary.

• 5–6 dicembre, in presenza da Recontemporary, Torino, 10:00–17:00

의 곡을 작업했습니다

본 프로젝트는 곡마다 만든 영상이
연주되는 소리에 실시간으로 반응하도록 하는 데 초점을 두었습니다.
모든 곡을 오디오 리액티브로 구성했으며,
화면비가 서로 다른 LED 면의 매핑부터
TouchDesigner 기반의 실시간 비주얼 시스템 구현,
현장 운용까지의 과정을 진행했습니다.

페스티벌과 공연 현장은 이번이 처음이었고,
스튜디오 화이트 노이즈로서 맡은 첫 페스티벌이었습니다.
쉽지 않은 작업이었지만
공연이 끝날 때까지 문제없이 운용할 수 있어 기쁩니다.

ONE OK ROCK은 어렸을 때 커버 밴드를 했을 만큼 좋아하던 밴드여서,
같은 페스티벌에서 작업할 수 있었던 것이 큰 영광이었습니다.

What if Audio-Visuals Were Made for Dogs? 🐶

This is an Audio-Visual performance system created for both humans and dogs. It invites the human audience to experience everyday life from a dog’s perspective, while simultaneously serving as a performance where dogs are the core subject of the user experience (UX) design.
•
For instance, the visual palette primarily uses blue and yellow hues—colors dogs can perceive—while avoiding high contrast or intense flashing lights. The sound design incorporates soothing timbres, gentle frequencies, and tempos that mimic a dog’s heartbeat.
•
In each scene, the visual is split into side-by-side frames: the left side tailored for human viewers, and the right side for dogs. In the ”Butt Sniffing“ scene, the performer can manipulate the stretching movements of two dogs to alter the distance between their heads and tails. While humans perceive two dogs approaching and probing each other, dogs are actually attuned to scent. Thus, the parameter mapping the distance between head and tail also serves as an interactive signal controlling the musical timbre.

這是一個同時為人與狗設計的音像演出系統，它能讓觀眾體驗狗的日常生活視角，並且也是以狗作為使用者體驗設計的演出。例如顏色以狗能分辨的藍與黃色系為主、避免高對比或強烈閃光、善用舒緩的音色與頻率、模仿狗的心跳節奏

每個場景都會分左右的畫面，左邊是給人看的、右邊是給狗看的。在「聞屁股」的場景中，表演者可以操控兩隻狗的伸展動作，來改變彼此頭部與屁股的距離。人類看見的是兩隻狗在靠近與試探，而狗在乎的其實是氣味，因此我讓頭與屁股的距離參數，也作為音樂的音色互動訊號
