Update:

Australia

Kickstarter will not approve another campaign :( The plan is to have our next campaign on indie gogo Im not too sure about the process of a approval so we currently do not have a dead line. Ill send an update regarding the launch date soon as we have more info.

We are back

The first few desks to come off the line look amazing, even better then we expected. Im sure you guys will absolutely be thrilled with the final product. A production version is on the way! Soon as its here we will post some picture. And yes the pollution is that bad in Shanghai, looked a lot like silent hill.

Started work on first custom

Today we started on our first custom desk. Finally got our first shipment of materials in, but we are still wait on most of the electronic components.

Limited edition backer

In the final stages of writing the document that will be passed out to limited edition backers with all the available options and colour variations. expect that early next week

Time line

Currently we are about two months behind, our original timeline was based on not having any delays. Well that was not the case. Our wonderful financial institution told us that they would hold funds for 5 business days... 20 business days later and with that everything has been pushed back.

So the kickstarter was a great success, we will continue till the end of October to accept orders at the current price point. visit our website at gpdesks.com

Currently you can only pledge if your located in US or Canada, but we are working on adding other regions.

Australia

Im very impressed with the amount of pledges, we are working hard to get the proper logistics in place for a mid 2014 launch. When the time comes Aussies will be able to preorder via our website and yes it will come with all the stretch goals.

160K stretch goal

Unfortunately we wont know if it possible to do what we wanted to for the last stretch goal. I will know more when I arrive in China and speak directly to our production manager. Rest assured that there will be something added.

Whats next?

Our two main goals now are to continue work on our new website and to oversee the first round of production.
