WWDC26 has wrapped, and Apple delivered a major leap forward in AI with the next generation of Apple Intelligence and the introduction of Siri AI. From deeper personal context awareness and smarter app interactions to enhanced privacy protections, Apple showcased how AI is becoming more integrated into everyday experiences across its ecosystem.
The announcements signal a continued shift toward more intelligent, personalized, and privacy-focused computing β setting the stage for what's next across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Vision Pro.
Here's a taste of what was announced:
β’ Siri AI β A completely reimagined assistant. Siri AI will live in its own dedicated app, understand your personal context, and work across your apps. Schedule a meeting or build a Shortcut just by describing it in natural language. It's the most capable, conversational version of Siri ever.
β’ Privacy and security by design β Processing happens on-device first. When more compute is needed, Private Cloud Compute ensures your data is never stored, accessed, or shared, not even with Apple. For customers in regulated industries, this is the AI story they want to hear.
β’ Even faster, even better performance β With iOS 27 and macOS Golden Gate 27, apps launch up to 30% faster, AirDrop transfers up to 80% faster, and iPad external drive browsing is up to 5x faster.
