What’s needed?
• Аt least 5+ years of relevant experience in server systems and network administration;
• Excellent knowledge of Linux OS and RedHat and Debian based distros (FreeBSD/NetBSD is a plus);
• Shell Scripting, at least bash shell;
• Hands-on experience of network troubleshooting;
• At least intermediate knowledge in Windows Servers OS;
• Advanced knowledge in Virtualization technologies, hypervisors VMware, KVM, Hyper-V;
• Experience with Virtual DC Infrastructure and Distributed Infrastructures;
• Working knowledge of server administration and troubleshooting tools like iptables, net-tools, tcpdump, lsof, hdb, strace, iproute3, etc.
• Аt least working knowledge of Docker containers;
• Good enough verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
Good to have:
• Experience with international customers;
• Any programming language experience (Python (or Perl) is a plus);
• Working knowledge with Linux Containers and FreeBSD Jails;
• Experience with DevOps tools and stacks;
• Experience with network mgmt tools like Wireshark;
• Knowledge of Linux containers, docker images, and/or fbsd jails. (Kubernetes is a plus).
Your responsibilities will be to:
• Building and maintaining in-house server and network systems as well as client production systems;
• Apply security patches across servers/networking nodes;
• Auditing server security, realibilly, best practices in servers configurations;
• Building and administering Windows Servers, Linux-based servers, hypervisors, and VMs.
• MGMT on layer2 and layer3 Networking (tunnels, VPNs, Dynamic Routing Protocols, layer2 and 3 firewalls, etc.);
• Working with various enterprise systems.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance and manage escalations;
• Perform HA and DRS scenarios on live and dev systems.
