Founded in 2009, Balkan Internet Exchange was one of the first IX on the Balkans. The idea was to provide smooth and secure internet connection in the region. By providing our quality services through all those years, we prove that we are one of the most reliable Internet exchange points worldwide.

Many things have changed since then, but there is one thing that is still the same. We believe that one of the most important things in this world is free communication between the people. And our vision is communication trough interconnection.

Balkan Internet Exchange will attend the European Peering Forum in Tallinn, Estonia from the 16th till the 18th of September 2019.

AMS-IX, DE-CIX, LINX, NETNOD and NIX-CZ, are happy to host the 14th European Peering Forum (EPF) in Tallinn, Estonia from the 16th till the 18th of September 2019.
