Sharp Sounds have been repairing tube guitar amplifiers, as well as modifying stomp boxes for Perth musicians for in excess of ten years. Just fixed the old bias drift issue in a JCM2000 by replacing the main board (check pic below to see proof that modding the old board doesn’t work). As MARSHALL stopped manufacturing replacement boards about 2 years ago it meant that we were no longer able to resolve this issue until the good guys at Australia’s own Brad's Guitar Garage came up with the goods! Wow - just - Wow! What a fantastic piece of gear! Can’t recommend it high enough! On the one hand it’s a shame that MARSHALL never acknowledged there was ever an issue in the earlier amps of this type in the first place and then to just stop making replacement boards - which had all the issues resolved - well enough said (and no we did not mod the original board shown here, we have always refused to - because IT NEVER WORKS).

…well we’ve finally done it! We’ve done a thing! We have had manufactured locally, out of aluminium, replacement shutter boards for the legacy Morley Pro Series II VOLUME/WAH, WAH and Little Alligator pedals. So now they will actually, you know, last, unlike the fragile piece of kit that comes as standard (see item on the right in the first pic - it’s basically reinforced cardboard) and is unavailable as a spare part. So you want to modify the apatures to more suit your insane style? No probs, you just need a jewellers flat file (see pic below) and if you stuff up, we have replacements! I suspect a dab of black paint appropriately placed may make things even better but we will leave that up too you (we use a black Sharpie). Special thanks to Scott Grove for his video on said MORLEY issues which got me interested in the first place when I was trying to fix my own pedal, thanks mate! DM us for supply and pricing details! …..making a 12 string Rickenbacker play and sound even better…yes it’s possible…black background truss cover/name plate (makes you play faster), brass nut with improved string spacing, a decent bridge, no more silly ‘R’ thingo driving you nuts whilst restringing (which end up breaking under the strain of six extra strings…) and last but not least, reversing the fluffy k**b wiring so that it turns bass tones up when turned clockwise, not counter clockwise…she plays amazing and sounds awesome..!!
