Trident Australia supplies CEJN Non-Drip quick connect couplings, designed for low-pressure fluid applications where spill-free performance and dependable sealing are important. The compact dry-break design helps minimise fluid loss during connection and disconnection, with every coupling leak-tight and functionality tested during production.

Trident Australia is proud to be engaged to deliver a major umbilical build and offshore installation campaign for a key oil and gas customer.

This scope involves the change-out of multiple 3-core umbilicals, supporting critical offshore operations where quality, compliance, and reliability are non-negotiable. Each umbilical assembly is being manufactured using Parker Polyflex high-pressure hose assemblies, produced under our Parker assembly accreditation.

The assemblies are being built for subsea service and fitted with Parker Snap-Tite 71 Series couplings. Each hose assembly is then completed with stainless steel overbraid, installed into burst sleeve protection, and fitted with FRAS-rated spiral guard to provide the required level of mechanical protection for offshore use.

All assemblies are pressure tested under Trident Australia’s NATA accreditation and flushed to NAS 6 cleanliness requirements, ensuring each completed umbilical is delivered with the appropriate level of technical verification and quality assurance.

Once the build phase is complete, Trident Australia’s offshore technicians will mobilise to site to remove the existing umbilicals and install the new assemblies, showcasing our ability to deliver critical hose and umbilical projects from manufacture and testing through to flushing, documentation, compliance and offshore installation.

🏁 Congratulations to our General Manager, Jono Hansen, and his co-driver Kyle Smit on successfully completing the 2026 Tatts Finke Desert Race in his Can-Am Maverick R, competing in the SXS Pro Class.

The Tatts Finke Desert Race is one of Australia's most iconic off-road endurance events, covering 460km of challenging multi-terrain desert country between Alice Springs and the Aputula (Finke) Community across two demanding days of racing.

A great example of quality local manufacturing and supplier support, with Intercept Australia producing custom PVC protective covers for Trident Australia’s umbilical reelers within our rental fleet. Manufactured from their in-house loft facility, Intercept Australia specialises in covers for industrial equipment and transport frames across the Mining, Oil & Gas and Defence industries.

The covers help keep our reelers protected during transport, storage and offshore mobilisation, helping reduce exposure to harsh offshore environments while equipment is moved and prepared for deployment.

A big thanks to Sebastian and the team at Intercept Australia for their support and workmanship throughout the project.

A look back at IODS 2026.

Last week, the Trident Australia team spent three great days at the Indian Ocean Defence & Security (IODS) Conference and Exhibition, catching up with customers, industry partners, suppliers, and plenty of familiar faces along the way.

It was a busy few days on the stand, with plenty of conversations, new connections made, and opportunities to showcase Trident Australia's capabilities across defence and maritime applications. Davide Sirolli also enjoyed attending the Better Together Ball and catching up with many people from across the industry in a different setting.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand, took the time to chat with the team, or connected with us throughout the week. We appreciate the support and look forward to continuing the conversations over the coming months.

🔧 Custom Built Pressure Test Solutions

Designed and built in-house by the Trident Australia team, this 1101 Series Pressure Test System has been manufactured on a 316 stainless steel mobile trolley frame and configured to suit specific customer requirements.

This particular unit features a Haskel ASF35 high-pressure pump, Pumps 2000 air-driven diaphragm fill pump, 40-litre reservoir with auxiliary outlet, Additel 680P digital pressure gauge with data logging capability, precision air regulation, and integrated pressure protection through Parker Hannifin and BiS Valves Ltd relief valves.

Every Trident Australia unit is designed with the end application in mind. Our systems can be configured to suit a wide range of fluid and pressure control requirements, incorporating different pumps, instrumentation, reservoirs and control systems. With capabilities up to 60,000 psi, we work closely with customers to deliver equipment tailored to their operational needs.

🌱 Active for Change May Wrap Up 🌱

Throughout May, Trident was proudly represented in the Active for Change challenge, with 26 employees taking part across six teams alongside RS Group colleagues. With over 680 participants across 169 teams globally, it was fantastic to see the effort and consistency on display.

A big shout out to our ‘Bunker Bandits’, who powered their way into the Top 30 teams overall and Bek Preskey for individually finishing in 24th place!

Beyond the leaderboard, the challenge supported SolarAid, who help bring safe, sustainable solar lighting to communities in remote parts of sub-Saharan Africa 💡

Well done to everyone who took part and contributed throughout the challenge, making it a great effort all round 👏
