Coming soon to the new-look MyToolbox client portal, domain-only customers will be able to:

👀 **Perth Web Hosting is getting a facelift!**

Over the coming month, we’ll be rolling out a fresh new look—and unlike most renovations, this one won’t involve six trips to Bunnings and a domestic argument. 😂

What’s changing?

Service Outage Update — cPanel Servers
Late last night, we experienced a hardware-level outage affecting 5 of our cPanel servers, caused by a vSAN sync failure across a bank of drives.
What happened:

1 VM was safely migrated and restarted with no extended downtime
4 servers had shut down but refused to power on , prompting an emergency on-site visit to our Datacentre
The faulty node was identified and restarted, restoring all servers by 2:30am

Follow-up issue:
A routine update triggered during the post-reboot process caused further disruption to the operating system on the affected servers. Our team worked directly with CloudLinux to resolve this, and full service was restored by 2:00pm.

What we're doing next:
We're currently investigating the root cause, especially as this hardware has run reliably since installation in May 2020, to reduce the risk of recurrence.

We know outages like this are frustrating and fall short of what you expect from us. While hardware failures can't always be predicted, we take the impact seriously and are committed to improving our resilience going forward.

Service Update – cPanel / Webmail Login Issues Resolved ✅

This morning, some customers experienced issues logging into cPanel, Webmail, or WHM due to a licensing issue with the cPanel licensing servers.

The issue was not specific to Perth Web Hosting and affected hosting providers worldwide that use the cPanel platform.

cPanel has now released a fix, and we have applied the required updates across all of our servers.

If you previously received a licensing error when accessing cPanel, Webmail, or WHM, please try logging in again. The issue has now been resolved.

If you're with Telstra, you may have issues accessing your website and email due to a national outage with the carrier. There are no issues on our side, and you should be able to connect via another provider.
