We don't harvest data or track you and your activities on your phone and other devices, we don't use or access your data; or in any way sell, trade or otherwise monetise your private information.
YOUR DATA IS YOUR DATA and that's the end of it. You decide if, what, when and where your data is shared AND WITH WHOM.
That's what privacy means! The big social and cloud platforms don't use the word private, they use, sell and monetise your private data and track you and everything you do with their apps. Everything you do from what you're talking about at lunch with your friends to every keystroke you make on your keyboard. Their apps are a bugging device - for your safety of-course. Our app is 4MB in size and with that you can use and access our social platform, our cloud platform and all it's apps; and your email. Their apps are 100MB+. Why are their apps so large where ours does more and it's a fraction of the size? Because its basically Spyware!!! It's as plain and simple as that.

We're sorry, Jibber Jabber will be back online shortly. We had an inverter burn out which we've now replaced to restore power. But we've got most of our servers back online and are in the process of restoring services.

Scheduled Maintenance Shutdown. 12:30pm

We're doing a server update. Unfortunately it's going to require us to reboot some of our servers. It will affect the social platform, chat and messaging but will not affect Cloud services. You'll still be able to message other users from within Cloud services but there will be no sync during the shutdown with normal chat and messaging.

The reboot is scheduled for 12:30pm GMT+8 today Sunday 28th May 2023. We expect to be back online by 12:45pm.

The Fediverse is Coming to Jibber-Jabber !!!

Jibber-Jabber Online is transitioning over to a new Fediverse connected social network platform in early 2023. This will give you access to users and content across thousands of interconnected social network services including Mastedon, Dispora, Friendica, Hubzilla, GNU Social, Funkwhale and even PeerTube.

We'll be basing our platform on the open source Hubzilla model with a very similar user experience to our current service, but much much faster and more responsive with access to millions of users and their shared content.

We'll have better integrated cloud storage with sharing, online gaming and apps. We'll also have full email capabilities so you can send and recieve email right from your Jibber-Jabber profile providing unprecedented integration and convenience. Want to publish your own web page? Jibber-Jabber has a page creator you can create a personal page or topical pages on any subject.

The service will remain free and will be exclusively funded by opt-in premium features and elevated privellages. For example you might want to know who's been visiting your profile, a great online safety enhancement, you'll be able to level up at any time and take control of your privacy with a great range of tools and add-ons.

So stick around, we've got great things coming!!! We'll be announcing our transition date in the coming weeks - our new platform will be awesome - the Fediverse is the biggest alternative platform to the big 5 data harvesting social networks. It's completely open source and decentralised. And we're offering account portability so you can take your Jibber-Jabber account across to any other service based on the Hubzilla protocols and vice-versa, you can even have child profiles and accounts with aliases for work, family and play - or personal and business accounts.

You're free now Oz Online users!

Oz Online is now under the BeamMe umbrella and has been merged with the Jibber-Jabber social platform. Yes maybe a little too late yes if you were an Oz Online user your data has been sold to dozens of various interest groups and companies, yeah they did identify you specifically by name, but the good news is that's come to an end now. Jibber-Jabber is the last company that will ever buy your private data and it's no longer for sale. Your profile data, posts and messages are now part of the Jibber-Jabber platform you can log in using the same user name/email and password you used on Oz Online.. You should read and accept our terms of service. You have the option of exporting your social profile so you can take it elsewhere like Mastedon, Friendica or other Activity Pub based services. But I guarantee you if you join one of those smaller networks your data is how they make their money. Whereas on Jibber-Jabber we just don't do that s**t.

So yes, all your social data is now accessible and usable on Jibber-Jabber. As for all the telemetric data such as your contacts, SMS, browsing, search and location history collected by Oz Online, we're in the process of filtering that data out of our database that data will be destroyed and never collected again.

As for the Oz Online brand, we aim to use it as our Activity Pub portal offering open source, distributed social. Much like our Activity Pub based Cloud platform NextCloud.

Welcome Oz Online users to the Jibber-Jabber Social platform. You've been redirected to Jibber-jabber Online because of our recent aquisition of Oz Online. We've shut down the Oz Online service to preserve user privacy and prevent what we would consider breaches of that.

Oz-Online while small, derives it's income from tracking users and selling private data harvested from you and any device you use (ie. Phones, Tablets and Computers). As of now the service is offline and will never come online again.

Having purchased the service and all it's user data, we have migrated basic user profile data, all posts, messages and user data to our social platform. All data relevant to you using the service as a Social Platfotrm. Data harvested from tracking users by OzOnlnes's apps and ordinary sold is no longer being sold and data considered covertly harvested for financial gain is being scraped from the system and will consequently being destroyed.

As for the rest of the data (ie, things you purposely upload and shared) - its being migrated over to our system where you will be the owner of that data not us. You are the new owner of YOUR DATA. You can sign in to Jibber-jabber using your Oz Online Credentials and use our service on an ongoing basis; or you can delete your account from Profile > Account on Jibber-Jabber.

Your data will be permenantly deleted if you do. Before deleting your data we give you the option of downloading it or attributing it to another user account.

We support the Open Source Activity Pub standard, your data is now in a format compatible with that. You can download your data, afterwhich you can delete it from our servers and it will actually be deleted (unlike other online services) - but by downloading your data you can then upload it to another ActivityPub based service such as Mastedon, Pleoroma, PeerTube, Friendica, etc etc.

We hope you'll stay with us. Your data is now yours again. YOURS - NOT OURS OR THEIRS!!!

Jibber-Jabber is Online, we've brought extra servers online to cope with the unexpected high load on our system. The service is operating as normal.

We do shut servers not in use down to conserve power, yes the service is solar powered, but it reduces the wear on our battery systems and allows us to run longer on solar in the winter months where we have less direct sunlight and more overcast days.

Sorry about any service disruptions.

Also yes, you have the ability to Share your diary and individual entries with friends, it has our social platform integrations built in with the ability to chat, like, comment etc adding their own ideas, experiences and thoughts to your experiences bringing unparalleled depth and dimension to your diary and diary entries.

This is a game changer, not everything in Social needs to be posted and shared with all your friends, sometimes you need something just for you, that's what this is; we just give you the option of selectively allow those with you and closest to you to make that entry special with comments and thoughts, or maybe an embedded chat.

We forget so much of the detail of our lives, with Diary you can immortalize it along with the experiences of the ones you shared those moments with.
