Good reminder... you may be thinking about taking firewood down south for your camping trip - or maybe taking some plants to a friends house in Busselton. Very innocent actions but one that the borers love. Protect our trees and think about what you do with untreated wood, plants and green waste.

Help protect WA’s trees, food and agriculture from polyphagous shot-hole borer 🪲

The borer doesn’t move far on its own but can spread through human movement 🛻

Don’t move untreated wood, green waste and plants outside of the Perth metro area 🪵

Some of these climbers make monkeys look inexperienced (no offence to monkeys). No, honestly - if you want to see expertise in tree climbing or maybe have a young person wondering what career to go into - this may be for you.
