Frame Effect

Not everything we frame is a painting. 👀

This was a fun one we framed years ago.
A wallet, a much loved and much used wallet.
The time had come to be upgraded so what happens to the old one? Frame it!
We suspended the wallet inside two frames with glass on both sides.
Forever part of the story 🩷

Sometimes it's an object with a story, a bit of history or just something too interesting to leave sitting in a drawer.
We love projects like this because no two are ever quite the same.
If it's unusual, interesting or meaningful to you, bring it in.
Let's see what we can do.

The new luxury? Knowing it was made by a human, not a machine. 🤍

Since 2010, we’ve been cutting, joining, measuring, tweaking, re-doing (because sometimes it’s just not quite right) and turning your art, memories and odd little treasures into something worth keeping.

There’s no button for experience. No algorithm for knowing which frame just works. And no machine that gives a damn about getting the details right quite like someone who’s spent years perfecting their craft.

Shout-out to everyone who’s supported our little handmade world for the past 16 years. Every custom job, every local purchase, every time you’ve trusted us with something that matters to you - it means more than you know.

You get it. We get you.

This one is a whole lot of sporting history in one frame! 🏉
Signed jerseys, iconic moments, photographs and memories that deserve far better than being tucked away in a cupboard.
Memorabilia framing is all about bringing those pieces together into one display that tells a story. And this one has plenty to tell.

Got a jersey, medal or sporting keepsake worth showing off?
Let's get it out of the cupboard and onto the wall.

A little vintage charm never goes astray. 🌷
There's something lovely about framing a delicate floral watercolour with a soft, traditional finish. The oval mount draws your eye into the artwork, while the pale frame complements its gentle colours.
Sometimes it's the quieter framing choices that make the biggest difference.
Classic, timeless and ready for its place on the wall.

❤️🖤 A LITTLE BIT OF BOMBER HISTORY

This little Essendon Bombers badge came into the workshop and, rather than letting it disappear into the bottom of a drawer somewhere, we gave it a proper spot on the wall.

We used a deep black mount and a timber-and-black custom frame, keeping it simple so that iconic red, black and white badge gets all the attention.
This is one of those jobs that reminds us that memorabilia framing doesn't have to mean a giant signed jersey or a wall-sized display. Sometimes it's the little pieces - badges, tickets, medals, old club gear - that hold the best memories.

And with Christmas creeping up, this could also be a pretty good gift idea for the Bomber tragic in your life. 🎄🏉

At Frame Effect in Orange NSW, we do custom framing, sports memorabilia framing, AFL memorabilia framing and object framing — basically, if it's got a story, we're interested.

Got a bit of footy history hiding in a drawer? Bring it in.
