Last night we were back at the ARN Innovation Awards, where we were Highly Commended for Regional Partner of the Year. We didn't bring the trophy home this time, with that honour going to Lateral Plains Pty Ltd. , our fellow SMBiT Professional members. A brilliant result and very well deserved!

Three ARN Regional Partner wins and a highly commended recognition over five years is not bad for a business that started in someone's parents' basement. We've got a pretty incredible team around us, and we're proud of what they've built for Colton and our clients across Central West NSW.

We'll take the finalist spot and a good night out in good company. And there's always next year!

In the 'good old days', it was laughably easy to spot a scam. Today? Not so much.

Modern phishing - like CEO fraud emails - exploits your trust, your instinct to hit deadlines, and normal business processes. There are no dodgy links. No bad grammar. Just a very convincing email that looks like it's from the boss.

And AI has made things even trickier, because phishing is now faster, more targeted, and much harder to detect. Gen AI can write hundreds of convincing phishing emails in minutes.
