Meet our newest silent partner — Anthony Albanese. He doesn’t work here, doesn’t answer the phones, and definitely doesn’t fix devices or the printers. But thanks to the latest CGT changes, he’s now entitled to roughly 47% of the business when we eventually sell it.
That’s right. The business we built from nothing. The one we’ve poured every weekend, every late night, and every dollar into. The one that was supposed to be our superannuation — because unlike politicians, most small business owners don’t have a fat taxpayer-funded retirement fund waiting for them. Our business was meant to be what we retire on. Looks like it’s becoming what you retire on.
We already collect and remit GST for the government every three months like good little unpaid tax agents. Now they want nearly half the capital when we finally exit too?
Why would you even take the risk of starting a business in Australia.

Thanks for dropping by to celebrate, Anthony.
This is a joke (but we are not laughing)
