Consider the fact that Graphics are a lot like Music: And there are two types of practitioners:

Some acts have a support crew of dozens, pumping out slick and stream-lined electronically-produced stuff with all the cutting-edge of a nerf-ball, employing light-shows and dancers to distract you from the actual message. Catering for the masses and indiscernible from the next act, driven by sales and

adulation, with no intellectual depth beyond the superficial - with barely any evidence of the actual craft of music on-show, yet in reality, doing not much for a lot of money. THEN you have the very, very devoted driven few: found hard-at-it at 1am plying their craft with meaning and purpose to a smaller (but equally ardent) audience, raising a sweat on their brow and raising calluses from their strings - working around and within with the original roots and foundations of their artform, creating work that contains a natural, rounded human tone. Well Rockerfella Industries are the design equivalent of those people.

A concept the promote a two day spring music festival at Mt. Blue Cow, sponsored by The Kraken Rum and having eight acts over the Saturday and Sunday.

Have spent a bit of time over the first part of the year chipping away at a corporate re-branding of an important resource in regional NSW - and heading Australia-wide in due-course.

I must be doing something right at least some of the time - for me to meet this hilarious guy at a pub many miles from the snow - and realise we were besties here in Insta-land. Happenstance. Anyway was kindly asked to put a brand proposal together and the two of us came up with lightening in a bottle… or on a board anyway.

This is just a mock-up but will put up the first design (a ‘blank’) rolled out by Kyneee Snowboards real soon!

He kept this quiet. But the super-cool Sam Martin was one of the people in the spotlight in the recent series of ‘Backroads’ (Candelo episode) on ABC television: (presented by the effervescent Lisa Millar (can confirm, have met her in person and she is nothing shy of delightful).

Whilst Sam’s talent and charm - and absolute giving nature - were on full display: my logo had plenty of time on-screen too!

One of my absolute favourite branding jobs of all time.
