Afternoon everyone,

With this current weather pattern making its way across canberra and surrounds, we are noticing some interruptions to the Yless4u service and are investigating them as we speak.

If you have any sensitive equipment, please power them off to avoid any surge faults.

The team are closely monitoring the network and should we notice anything requiring urgent intervention we will investigate further.

If, once the storm passes you should notice internet issues, please let our team know and we'll look into it.

For updates on tower outages, please look out for email and/or SMS updates.

We have already seen a few customers routers zapped by Lightning.. And not lightning McQueen.

I would suggest spending $20 at church (Tradies church) and get yourself a surge protector.. There are double outlet units and power boards with it built in too for those that need to protect multiple units..

FYI,

Scams can happen to anyone, even our Operations Manager! So always be mindful to never click on links that you are sent, whether they are pretending to be MyGov, or a family member.

New rules around SMS messages have now made it harder for scammers to fool us, but it always best to be diligent.

Both outages affecting Mt Fairy and Michelago have now been resolved.

Current Outages:

We are currently experiencing service interruptions affecting the Mt Fairy Tower and one sector of the Michelago Tower.

Our technicians are already on their way to restore services as quickly as possible, and YLess4U will keep you updated as soon as everything is back online.
