Your wedding day is about so much more than the ceremony. ❤️

We often hear couples say, “We only need a photographer for two hours” or “We just want the ceremony photographed.”

And while we completely understand wanting to keep costs down, we’d love you to consider what you’re actually missing when you only book a small amount of coverage.

Think about it…

It’s the nervous excitement while getting ready.
The little details you’ve spent months planning.
Your partner seeing you for the first time.
The ceremony, the vows and the emotions.
The hugs, happy tears and congratulations afterwards.
The candid moments with family and friends.
The speeches, the laughter and the dance floor.

And sometimes, the photos you end up treasuring most aren’t the perfectly posed ones. They’re the moments you didn’t even realise were happening.

Your wedding day goes by incredibly quickly. Photography is one of the few things you get to keep long after the day is over.

Our job isn’t just to turn up, take a few photos and leave. It’s to tell the story of your day, capturing the people, emotions and little moments that make it uniquely yours.

So before booking just two hours, think about the story you want to look back on in 20 years.

You might find those extra hours are worth so much more than you first thought.

Love,
Sugarloaf Studio x

Rob & Em | Beautiful Pindimar

It all started with a call-out on socials from Em asking, “Hey, does anyone know where Pindimar is?” 😂

Turns out, I might just be one of the only photographers in the Central West/ Hunter who had actually heard of it!

And what a beautiful place it turned out to be.

Rob and Em’s day was everything a wedding should be — surrounded by family and friends, camping vibes, homemade everything, and the kind of heartfelt speeches that remind you what it’s all really about.

No fuss, no pretence. Just two people, their favourite people, and a whole lot of love.

From the stunning surrounds of Pindimar to all the little personal touches that made this day uniquely theirs, it was such a pleasure to capture it all.

Rob & Em, thank you for bringing me along for the adventure. Sometimes the best weddings start with a simple question on social media and lead you somewhere truly special. 🥂✨
