✨ Meet Our Team – Akbbar Pradhipta, Production Accounting - Functional Consultant✨

In his time as Datamine’s Production Accounting team, Akbbar successfully strengthen the structured model before reporting. But before that, he had to answer a fundamental question: did the assay data represent what the plant had processed?

For the implementation on a mineral company that he is working on, Akbbar translated the plant flowsheet into a Production Accounting model, defined external process streams, built calculation logic and compared reconciled outputs with online measurements.

The main challenge was that initial assay samples did not represent the material processed during each shift, meaning the model could produce credible looking but misleading results. Akbbar worked with the client to review sample timing, representativeness and source-data quality before finalising the configuration.

The operation now follows a controlled process for reviewing inputs, running the balance and approving daily and month-end figures, strengthening reporting reliability and operational decisions.

His rule for future implementations is clear: prove the inputs reflect reality before trusting the output. It taught Akbbar that trustworthy mass balancing begins with representative source data.

✨ Meet Our Team – David Guidini, Centric Consultant ✨

From Petroleum Engineering at Universidade de São Paulo to drilling engineer at National Oilwell Varco, David Guidini built experience connecting operations, systems and data.

Based in Perth and enjoying photography outside work, he considers working at an underground mine site at Southern Australia, implementing Centric, a Datamine's Production portfolio, as one of the highlights of his career. As the primary consultant, he designs workflows, supports upgrades and investigates production, reconciliation and reporting issues.

The challenge is tracing errors across material movements, grades, stockpiles and connected systems, where the final symptom may appear long after its source. By tracing Centric records against physical mine events, David identifies where information diverged from reality, reduces manual steps and redesigns controls to prevent recurring issues.

The project is improving data capture and validation, detecting problems earlier and strengthening confidence in production reporting and reconciliation.

It taught him that reliable mining systems begin with understanding the operation behind the data.
