How not to get scammed.Today we are looking at scams that talk about you winning money or products on Facebook or browsers such as opera mini or phoenix browser or rarely chrome.
All of us at one point or another we have come across posts on our Facebook feed or browser claiming that MTN or Airtel is giving out free bundles or the government is paying out money to citizens or that xyz company is giving out free microwaves or fridges or washing machines or that you have won an iPhone or laptop or that ShopRite is giving out shopping vouchers.
All of this are just mere scams they want two things from you to steal your personal data or information and then secondly to get money from you, How? Most likely once you believe that you have won an iPhone 17 the phone needs to be sent/shipped to you from America or where ever right? And obviously it cant be shipped for free isn’t it?
So they will ask you to send money for example like a $100,for shipping of which you end up sending, after which they will cut all communication with you and then boom congratulations you have just been successfully scammed lol,
you might think no its just a $100 no big deal, nope that’s not K100 lol, $100=K2500 enough money to pay back money you owe zamcash,extracash and fikiliza, so that you stop been scared of answering unknown numbers lol, now you know so stop clicking on those links and following those page.next time we might look at how they use your personal data once you give it to them.
