Today, ZICTA officially launched the Connecting 90 Learning Institutions Project at Mukuni Primary School, reaffirming our commitment to ensuring that no learner is left behind in Zambiaโs digital transformation journey.
As part of the Connecting Learning Institutions Programme, ZICTA donated 12 desktop computers, a projector, and a printer to Mukuni Primary School to enhance teaching, learning, and digital literacy.
The launch marks another significant milestone in expanding access to ICT-enabled education across the country. To date, more than 700 learning institutions have benefited from ICT equipment provided by ZICTA, helping bridge the digital divide and create more inclusive learning environments.
As part of the dayโs activities, the Director General of ZICTA, Eng. Collins Mbulo, accompanied by members of staff, also paid a courtesy call on His Royal Highness Chief Mukuni. The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen collaboration and discuss the role of traditional leadership in supporting digital inclusion, education, and community development initiatives.
ZICTA values the partnership of traditional leaders and other stakeholders in driving initiatives that empower communities through technology. Together, we are connecting schools, empowering learners, strengthening partnerships, and building a digitally inclusive Zambia.
