African Proverb: The ruin of a Nation begins in the home of its people
Meaning: The building block of any nation is the home. A corrupt nation is a reflection of a corrupt home. Character they say begins at home. The values people learn at home is what they show when they are leaders. What happens at home is not a private matter. Or shall I say it is a private matter which has a public impact? In other words, the influence of the home extends beyond it. So if you are a parent, remember that if you are not bringing up your children in the right way, you are contributing to the ruin of your country. A nation in ruin must start building by looking into the values of its homes. It must create the environment that will foster trust and a healthy relationship within the home. It must encourage parents to be good role-models to their children. It must restructure its laws and acts to promote cordiality and respect among home communities. It must punish injustice and frown on disrespect. Above all, the leaders must lead the way in how they relate to and raise their families. It is a collective responsibility. Be patriotic!� !
